How the SkipZS Chrome extension handles your data, permissions and local network activity.

Overview
SkipZS is a Chrome extension that runs locally in your browser. It is designed to work without collecting personal information.
Information we collect
SkipZS does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address or payment details in order to function.
Your extension settings — such as Auto Skip preferences, Media Booster levels and keyboard shortcuts — are stored in your browser so that they persist between sessions.
Browser permissions
SkipZS requests only the permissions needed for its features: access to the active tab to detect and skip supported advertisements, audio processing for Media Booster, and local network access for File Sharing.
File Sharing and your local network
File Sharing transfers files directly between your phone and your computer over your own local network. Files are not uploaded to any SkipZS server.
Third-party services
Websites you visit, and any third-party application you pair with SkipZS, are governed by their own privacy policies.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page.
